THE PRODUCER
Goro Badessa is a micro region of Guji, Ethiopia. Around 2500 smallholder farmers from the area bring their cherries to the local Goro Badessa mill, which is owned by Desta Dukale.
THE PROCESS
The Goro Badessa station employed a natural drying process for this lot, which requires frequent stirring to avoid the growth of mold and takes 3-5 weeks to dry based upon climatic conditions.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Up front this coffee has rich notes of blackberry and fig, with an elegant black tea finish.
